2001
Michael Ingram wrote the code that would become the basis for our proprietary Broadband Explorer (BBX) provisioning and diagnostics software to support cable operators deploying high speed data to their subscriber base.
2002
IBBS signed its first customer shortly thereafter, in 2003, IBBS extended into the international market space by supporting a cable provider in the Caribbean. Today, IBBS serves broadband providers in over a half a dozen countries across South and Central America.
2004
IBBS began supporting its cable operator partners deploying Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) in 2004.
2007
Pamlico Capital acquired a majority stake in IBBS and Dave Keil joined IBBS as CEO. With the financial backing of Pamlico Capital, IBBS was positioned to make the significant investments needed to support future growth, create new innovations, and lend stability to broadband providers in a constantly changing and challenging industry.
2008
IBBS acquired longtime competitor Parasun Technologies Inc. in 2008, establishing their facility outside of Vancouver, BC as it's Western Regional Office. The integration of IBBS and Parasun provided our customers the best in broadband support.
2009
Commercial Services offerings launched.
2010
Today we continue to invest in our business, our people, our technology and our infrastructure to help broadband providers grow their businesses. The launch of Commercial Services offerings represents a new and exciting market that we believe will help fuel our strong growth well into the future.
