IBBS closes acquisition of SinglePipe and expands executive leadership team to deliver unified voice + data services
ATLANTA - Integrated Broadband Services (IBBS),
the leading provider of voice and data services for broadband
providers, today announced additions to its leadership team which
include executives who bring experience in marketing, strategy and
voice - all critical to IBBS' unified voice + data offerings.
The leadership team announcement comes in conjunction with the
close of IBBS' previously announced acquisition of SinglePipe. IBBS
has acquired SinglePipe to offer fully integrated voice and data
solutions for broadband service providers that seek to expand their
residential and commercial offerings to better serve customers,
maximize ARPU and generate superior margins.
Former COO of SinglePipe Cynthia Carpenter will join IBBS as vice
president of sales and marketing. She is a cable industry veteran
with a passion for customer service and a background in delivering
advanced services. Prior to joining SinglePipe, Cynthia held
leadership positions with Level 3, Rainbow Media, High Speed
Access, Time Warner Satellite Services (dba Primestar) and Starz,
through which she developed expertise in operations, strategy and
marketing. As part of the IBBS executive team, Cynthia will
leverage her results-driven approach and measurable track record to
advance the company's voice + data strategy to support broadband
providers' needs for unified offerings.
Mark Hayes from SinglePipe also will move to IBBS as vice
president of CLEC operations, joining the operations team led by
Paul Freeman. Through the course of Mark's career, he has developed
successful phone service delivery companies including his own CLEC.
His intimate knowledge of traditional local exchange service
deployments and VoIP for residential and commercial customers is
highly valuable for cable operators and broadband providers
augmenting their offerings with voice services.
"We've built a first-rate executive team to deliver on our vision
to simplify the delivery of advanced communications for cable
providers and their customers," said Dave Keil, CEO of IBBS. "In
our highly competitive industry, we recognize that what we offer is
just as important as how we serve our customers. Operators will be
pressed to find a more dedicated and passionate group committed to
our customers' success. We have the right team and the right time
to grow IBBS and enable our customers to seize new market
opportunities."
The other members of the IBBS leadership team remain in their
roles spanning operations, finance, commercial services, human
resources, product development and other key functions. Including
the leadership team, IBBS employs 260 employees from its
headquarters office in Kennesaw, Ga.,Technical Support Center in
Cartersville, Ga., satellite offices in Lexington and Louisville,

company provides a single, reliable platform from which cable
