Contingent selects IBBS Commercial Voice services
Cincinnati-based commercial broadband and managed support service provider awards IBBS a multi-year contract for full complement of voice and advanced business features
ATLANTA - IBBS, the leading provider of voice
and data services for broadband providers, today
announced that it has been selected by Contingent to provide a
suite of commercial voice services and
applications for its multi-location customers and enterprise
accounts. The multi-year voice deal is one of
several signed since IBBS acquired SinglePipe in its strategy to
offer fully integrated data and voice
solutions to companies that seek to expand their advanced
communications offerings.
"Choosing IBBS and its suite of commercial voice services was a
strategic decision and opportunity to
advance our service offerings to our customers," said Mark
Stuhlreyer, managing partner at Contingent.
"We are confident that the depth of expertise, the company's solid
market position, and comprehensive
services will further position Contingent, and our customers, for
growth."
Cincinnati-based Contingent offers managed secure wide area
networks (sWAN), integration, logistics
and maintenance for large enterprises including multi-site
retailers throughout the United States and
worldwide. The company deploys and maintains WAN infrastructure
including circuits, security
appliances, routers, switches, wireless devices and other
components found in large, multi-site
networks. Contingent serves companies across a wide variety of
verticals including Fortune 1000
enterprises and medium-sized companies in retail, banking,
finance, hospitality and others.
Contingent selected IBBS for its ability to deliver nationwide
commercial digital voice services, the IBBS
server platform, and the company's proprietary back office
provisioning platform. This distinct
combination permits IBBS to serve Contingent's multi-location
commercial customers and their
communications and flexibility requirements. Further, Contingent
found that IBBS' business approach
reflected its own operating model.
Leveraging IBBS' commercial voice services, Contingent will use
line replacement or SIP trunking to serve
corporate headquarters offices. Satellite or franchise locations
may install IBBS' hosted PBX solutions. By
using IBBS, a combination of voice technologies may be deployed
simultaneously to multiple locations
while being configured to a group. This enables advanced features
including interoffice/intercompany
extension dialing and the ability to have one automated attendant.
The configuration gives suppliers and
employees access to all locations from a single access number
while providing customers local number
access in the specific communities where the company does
business.
For large corporate accounts, Contingent will deploy IBBS' PRI
(primary rate interface) replacement
services to existing legacy PBX owners as well as SIP trunking to
companies that have invested in
advanced IP-PBX technology. Leveraging IBBS capabilities,
Contingent can now offer a suite of advanced
features including: sequential ringing, simultaneous ringing,
remote office and call management via
toolbars for Outlook and web browsers.
"At Contingent, our customers find that by leveraging our
purchasing power, buying relationships and
market partnerships they can save time, gain efficiencies and
access resources that are unattainable to a
single buyer," added Stuhlreyer. "Similar to our own model, IBBS'
scale, network investments and back
office processes will allow us to leverage best-in-class solutions
without having to make the substantial
upfront and ongoing capital investments."
"We view this as a strategic opportunity as it represents an
important channel to deliver our
differentiated commercial services solutions," said Dave Keil,
chief executive officer at IBBS. "I am
confident that the full breadth of IBBS' offerings will position
Contingent for success in providing high
quality voice services to its large installed base and rapidly
growing customer base."
