David Gould

David Gould is a proven industry leader with expertise in launching and growing business. He possesses the unique experience in predicting developments and leading organizations amidst changing market dynamics.

During his tenure as the chairman and CEO of Witness Systems, Gould led the company through a successful IPO (Red Herring #13 in 2000) and to the leading position in the workforce optimization market. Through strong execution and successful acquisitions, Witness grew from less than $10 million annual revenue to close to $250 million. The company was sold in the spring of 2007 for approximately $1.1 billion.

Gould is currently an operating partner with the Atlanta-based Technology Operators Fund, which provides growth capital and hands-on operating help to promising technology companies. Technology Operators consists entirely of technology executives that have successfully scaled companies and produced attractive value creation events, including IPOs and sales. Gould also sits on the board for Vocalocity and the TAG Education Collaborative (TEC). He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a MBA from Emory University.
